**** Dual Entry 60 Day Visa

Featured Replies

I obtained a dual entry 60 day visa in Germany for Thailand.

I arrived here October 15th 2012 and used up 60 days, then I extended by a month locally , so now I must leave Thailand Jan 12 2013.

I will actually do some contract work in Germany for 12 weeks and arrive back here April 11th 2013.

My question is

is the second leg of the dual entry visa (60 days) still VALID to use when I arrive back that day?

THANKS for info.

Look at your visa, it says soemthing like "Must be used before". You must make all entries before or on that date at the latest. Normally that date is 3 or 6 months after the date it was issued, so probably the visa will no longer be valid to enter Thailand in April.

Hi Irishlad,

Irish - German... Your dates coming and going... Is your name Iain?

(Snippet from a Thai Consul in the UK about that type of tourist visa)

"With a TWO or THREE entry Tourist Visa you must ensure you enter Thailand on your final visit

before expiry of the visa which is 6 months from date of issue".

If they issued that visa to you before October 11th 2012 then it looks like you will need a new one. The embassy in Germany will advise you.

Oh sorry you're not the Irishlad I'm speaking of... He's 27 and lives in Phuket. Oopsy ignore me.
