Visa On Arrival Query

Featured Replies

I am an Indian and have travelled to Thailand and used the Visa on arrival facility. Later this month, I am travelling Bangalore - Bangkok - Singapore - Phuket - Bangkok - Bangalore.

As the flights are with different airlines, I require to clear immigration in Bangkok to check-in and then exit the country again in matter of hours.

Can I get a multiple entry visa on arrival in Bangkok?

In case the visa on arrival is only for single entry can I apply for re-entry permit at the airport?

Or, Can I just apply for a fresh visa on arrival when I come back from Singapore to Phuket at the Phuket airport after 4 days stay in Singapore?

Please help!

Regards,

Anup

No to the first question, yes to the other two. A single-entry re-entry permit is 1,900 Baht, a new visa on arrival only 1,000 Baht.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

"A single-entry re-entry permit is 1,900 "

The price increased from 1000 baht?

Terry

Oops, thank you for catching that. It is indeed 1,000 Baht, which makes it the same as the visa on arrival.

I deleted an off-topic post. The OP is not a backpacker and not new to VOAs. If he were, I would have given him the corresponding link to the web page on the site of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, not to a blog.
