Second time I have visited Cambodia and they must have the easiest and most efficient visa process of any country. This time I applied yesterday on-line and the visa was approved in less than 24 hours, cost $25, on the previous occasion it took about 3 days. They allow you to upload a picture with your application and for that they don't even require a formal passport picture so long as it is a clear picture including your face. Full marks to Cambodia just wish more would do likewise.

Which border crossing did you take. Presumably they didn't let you cross without paying some other fee to compensate the guards in some way.

I crossed at Poi Pet and PNH airport with an eVisa without having to pay anything extra.

Nice, would be interested to know if anyone has had a similarly smooth entry via Had Lek. Those guys at the border were pretty crooked once upon a time. Be interested to know if that's improved.

Could you send a link to their website as the previous links I have seen were quite unreliable.

The one I used http://www.mfaic.gov.kh/

It will also confirm that you can only enter through PP, Poipet and Hat Lek.- the latter has an evisa window, but doesnt seem to use it. You can exit at anyborder point.

Added bonus of evisa is that you dont lose a page in your passport with the visa sticker.

I am entering through Siem Reap airport and that they have even listed the counters to deal with the evisa.
