A friend was charged 5,000 just the other day even when he asked why it said 1,900 on the board. I think it has gotten better, though, as I don't get any hassle or threats when I put just 1,900 in the envelope along with the documents and copies. They still process a large amount of extensions through visa fixers so I doubt that the staff will need to sell their homes in Belgravia and Monte Carlo. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

(3800 baht?) I must admit I have never had a receipt, which I guess what this new deal is.... 90 day report a few weeks ago took less than 5 minutes. What I have seen in there is people being rude to the point of thumping on the desk.... well then the immigration guys/girls will make life difficult...
