Chao Lao Beach Posted January 6, 2013 Share Posted January 6, 2013 Absolutely Disgusting, when we drive to Bangkok , we start coughing as we approach and can taste it. That is one of the main reason reasons we bought at Chao Lao, it was the cleanest air I found in Thailand and asthmatics have moved here for the same reason. Bangkok is ok to visit for a day or two, even regularly but disgusting air to live in. You don't notice it when there, but you sure do when you are used to cleaner air.
