Sorry But Another Question On 90 Day Reporting And Exit Re-Entry Permits

Featured Replies

whistling.gif This has been asked before but i would like clarification so as to NOT end up paying a fine for not reporting on time,

Situation:

I am on a retirement visa.extension and doing 90 day reporting.

I left Thailand for a week, with an exit re-entry permit, and retirned to Thailand on 29 December 2012.

My next 90 day report was due 4 February 2013 before i left Thailand (and that card isstill stapled in my passport)

My understanding is that upon my return on 29 December 2012 my 90 day reporting clock was reset and therefore my reporting date should now be 90 days from my return date or (29 December 2012 plus 90 days) which should be about 29 March 2013.

Is that correct?

Can i just wait until the 29th of March before visiting Chaeng Wattana immigration for my next 90 day report?

Or should I go to immigration on that 4 Feb date on the current 90 day reporting card that is still stapled in my passport .... even if I know they will simply give me a new reporting card dated for March 29th.

In other words, do i go tp immigration on the 4th of February, or can I simply wait until the 29th of March?

Like I said, i want to avoid having to pay a fine for not reporting on time....even if by mistake.

Report is due 90 days after returning to Thailand, thus end of March.
