I want to start a small flock of chickens so that I have eggs and meat. Back home we have "utility" breeds that are good layers and fairly meaty such as Rhode Island Reds. I do not want "guy bahn" / jungle fowl that do not lay any eggs. I live in BKK and the chickens will be kept in out house in Cha-am. Does anyone know where I might find utility chickens close to either BKK or Cha-am?
