Chalerm denies being inebriated during Malaysia trip

The Nation

BANGKOK: -- Deputy Prime Minister Chalerm Yoobamrung yesterday denied he was in an inebriated condition during his three-day visit to Malaysia, after pictures of him were posted on Facebook.

However, he admitted that he and his friends had polished off eight bottles of wine.

Chalerm said he has five friends in Malaysia and Singapore and he calls this group "the five musketeers".

He said this group had even helped him when he was a political refugee, in Denmark. He said he always met his friends at least once a year. However, in the last two years he did not have the opportunity to meet them so when he went to Malaysia his friends picked him up at the airport. After that his friends invited him over, and they drank wine.

"There were no Thai or Malaysian government officers present at the get-together. It was only close friends hanging out together and we all shared the bill," Chalerm said.

He admitted that he did look inebriated in the pictures but he wasn't.

That should probably read that these five friends helped his evil spawn evade justice while it was a deserter from the R.T.A and a police killer on the run..

Maybe he had a reoccurrence of his ear problem.

This man is a liability; however, with his influence and power, he is - at present - untouchable and unaccountable.

What hope is there for Thailand when arrogance, sakdina, greng jai, nepotism and cronyism remain the order of the day?

What hope for the future?

What hope?

He is untouchable and unaccountable because of the party list system - an ideal example why it should be abolished.

The man is giving a new meaning to the "functional alcholic" class. He denies and admits he was drunk, only on personal time of course(with friends), and what did he realy accomplish with this trip?

Another 8 ball in the Thai government rack of screwballs. The man qualifies as the drawback on any team that he is a part of.He has lead by example for his sons, and a mulitude of undeaserables, but just maybe the upcoming population in Thailand can find a deep hole to put this kind of leach into.
