January 12, 201313 yr I am in BKK for the day and half the night arriving Tuesday - I a have a very quick appointment during the day. I arrive by train from the north at 6:30am and depart 6am from Don Muang. I have never spent much time in BKK but have seen the palace and river already. Any Suggestions on what to do and any cheap guest houses near Don Muang?

Taxis present better value when you consider the wait.
