I am in BKK for the day and half the night arriving Tuesday - I a have a very quick appointment during the day.

I arrive by train from the north at 6:30am and depart 6am from Don Muang.

I have never spent much time in BKK but have seen the palace and river already.

Any Suggestions on what to do and any cheap guest houses near Don Muang?

A few hours walk and rest in Lumpini park does wonders for my soul.

100 baht massages on sukhumvit soi 23 after the long walk.

Thanks - both sound good.

Can I catch a bus easily back to Don Mueang?

If taxis are not your interest, then wait for a bus but the wait can be the hardest part due to the climate. Taxis present better value when you consider the wait.

Have you ever taken the train to MoChit and then the shuttle from there?
