i have read that phuket immigration is wanting more info besides the income affidavit from the us embassy.

any americans recently been to phuket for renewal or new retirement visa. what was required?

Been told by immigration and by one person that did this. They want a letter from ur US bank verifying that you do receive the income amount u claim on the letter you get thru the embassy.

If you have your income transferred into a Thai bank your bank book showing these transfers should be enough.

I don't have a US bank. My social security goes straight to Bangkok bank in NY and into my account here.
