Thai company asking for certified copies to do business, you know, bank statement, residence etc. Surely I don't need to see a lawyer or the Embassy. Anybody know what this means among Thais?

A certified copy of my bank statement is performed for me (free) by my Thai bank. They make a copy and stamp and sign it.

Presumably for residence they want a certificate of residence from Immigration (cost 200B in Jomtien).
