This is funny , if you think outside the square .

We contracted an Isaan , driller to make a bore for our new farm. make a 5 inch bore hole.

40K , good

Drill down 48 mtr, good, good water , guarantee 12 months , no problem !

My wife goes to buy a 1.5 hp pump to collect/pump the water , and the submersible pump will only go down 18 mtr.

This exercise costs us , after plumber and electrician and cost of pump another 30K.

Pump goes for 10 minutes and water is gone ?

The water borer changed the pipe to 2.5 inches at the 18 mtr. mark .

Pump cannot go down , funny !

Water is there though , just have to suck it through a hose biggrin.png

Boy oh boy, that turned out to be a very expensive 10 minutes of water.

Surely the contractor would of told you and you wife what type of pump would work with the hole he was drilling.

Misunderstanding or miscommunication can be very costly as you very well know.

(did you secretively have an urge to try and squeeze the contractor down the hole he had just drilled?)

It is funny because it's too easy to see problem.

Why did the contractor go from 5 inches to 2.5 after the 18 meter mark, Goompa?
