House Rental, Short Term.

Recommended Posts

Posted

I want a house, single story on a ground floor, 3-4 br on the outskirts of town in July for a month <30K

Not too fussy, just needs to be clean < 20 KM from A.Muang and without too much f-around.

Can anyone recomend anything they personally know of or otherwise point me in the right direction?

Cheers.

A house will not be easy to get for one month only; most owners like to get a 12 month contract. Also not all condo owners will agree in this short term, 3 month is mostly the minimum. You can check some listings on our site http://www.buyrentchiangmai.com we can ask the owners if they agree, if not, look for a service apartments or guest house.

You might have to mess around in there. They have housing ads that do not stay on for more than a month unlike most of the companies that do real estate,

They have a section for short term rentals. Good that you are looking now gives you plenty of time.

I think this is good from you as a lot of places wouldn't bother to ask. If someone is willing to pay 30,000, not too many owners will turn down the opportunity of almost 100,000 Baht for 3 months........and of course make the deposit return a bit of a hassle too. But one month would be hard to get I imagine.

I am not sure either, That was the one I was referring to he might have to look around in there a little as they do have several different addresses.

Thanks guys, I might have stumbled on something in the meantime, nothing confirmed as yet.

I want a house as we have family in CM and I have two kids 3 and 8 years and my outlaws coming and stying from nearby Uttaradit maybe SIL too so a big house like the one above for 25K is great. Due to my daughter being young I would like something on the ground floor if not two story with bars on the above story windows. One month would be great as we'll be in Thailand longer than that so getting out wont be a drama. I think 1 month in CM would be a lot more relaxed in a home as opposed to a hotel etc.

I realise I'm persuing a house bound for the rental market and using it for a holliday stay but I offer an extra 100% premium for the month I want to stay for. I don't know what the CM rental market is like for homes in the 15-20 Baht range but if its slow then its a quick 30-40K for some one.
