Falcon01
How do you launder items like towels, sheets and bedspreads in BKK? Hire someone? Do it yourself? Drop off at local laundry? Trying to decide between a serviced apt and a condo for an upcoming long stay.

Falcon01
Either! having servants is a very affordable luxury here in Asia. Try it! Great point. Might take too much time and effort for most, buy I expect a few people do it themselves.
beachroadlover2
Laundry is expensive in Bkk compared to other cities. I live in a hotel. I hand/machine wash some items but the big stuff is the hotel's responsibility.
Psych01
I live in Lat Phrao area, I wash all my laundry myself. When it comes to the duvets and things like like that, I put them straight into one of the 30bht washing machines below in my building. There is also a woman, who will do them for me and I give her the softener, yesterday she charged me 80bht for doing the 2 duvets. So can be as cheap or as expensive as you wish. whybother
I use a laundry for anything that needs ironing, and have my own washing machine for other clothes.
Dancealot
I use a laundry for anything that needs ironing, and have my own washing machine for other clothes. So it depends on if you can iron yourself or not, i think.
