I loved sole mio restaurant, iron fairies bar, fat gutz bar and muse nightclub

Used to love Coliseum. I expect that place is much missed by many.

Brew on soi 13 - not cheap but it has the best selection of beers I've seen in Bangkok.

I'd only use WT during happy hour. The prices outside that are ridiculous. Oh and their Wifi never works. Service aint that bad that I noticed.

Anyway, went to Beirut on Thong Lor last week and thought while the food is OK nothing really stands out....average really.

Thong Lor is a pleasant street but everything is a bit spread out for my liking. Fat Gutz is on the list....!

Agree that everything is too spread out!

Demo and Funky Villa can be good if electro pop floats your boat. The women are far superior to those one finds in the tourist-oriented hoe-fests around Sukhumvit.

Check out their after-hours joint, Safe House, just around the corner that bangs on 'til 6am

Witches Tavern is terrible; bad light, flat beer, bland food. And it is all expensive. I like Fat Gutz though, had about 4 or 5 fun nights there. Iron Fairies is good too. Looking forward to checking out some of the other places mentioned on here

Holy bad notes Batman, am I the only one to complain about the band at WT? Before everything else went bad, the bands were the reason everyone started sitting outside...not to mention the low grade sound system is sure to leave your ears ringing.

Woodstock Bar & Grill, Soi 13. Best selection of American, Thai and Mexican food. Great atmosphere and good service. I make a point of going there nearly every time I visit The Big Mango.
