Can Do 90-Day Reporting At Any Immigration?

Featured Replies

I got my Non-B in BKK. However, I will be in Chiang Mai when my 90-day report is due. Can I do my 90-report there in CM or does it have to be done at the same immigration office where I got my original Non-B.

Thanks

Unless you have moved it should be made to Bangkok and that can be done by mail 15 or more days prior to due date.

Well, (due to my own forgetfulness), it's too late for the mail in option. Someone told just to make sure I put a CM address on the form and there shouldn't be a problem. My NEXT 90 days, I will be back in BKK. Will this work? I am temporarily staying in CM for work now.

The new rule is at least 15 days early but have not seen any reports of it being enforced yet - normally there is a long period of overlap when rules are changed but the old rule I believe was 10 days early so I would try to make at Chiang Mai first.

Sorry if my post was misleading.

I got the Non-B in BKK, but my 90-day is now due and I am in CM now. I want to do a walk in to CM immigration, but I will put down the address of where I'm staying in CM, not my BKK address. I was just asking if this will work or if the immigration officer will see that my Non-B was issued in BKK and then tell me I must go to BKK to do the 90-day reporting. I will not be doing the mail-in reporting this time.

If have proof of address in CM you should not have a problem.

It might also help to have some proof that your stay is for your job in case they were to ask since work permits are only valid for one location unless stated on work permit.

And two work places in different provinces are not allowed on a WP.

I presume the OP has two work permits, one from BKK and one from CM.

The OP must go to Immigrations and report that he has moved to CM and then he can do his 90 day report there.

I think I have read that a work permit can be issued that states that the holder works short term at various locations. Which can be written in job description when getting work permit. There are some jobs that require this (IE: an instructor, supervisor/manager for a company that has various locations.)

Well....Just did the 90 day in CM. They never blinked an eye or asked anything. I just put down the address of my vacation hotel and that was that. I didn't even have to tell them I was on vacation.

Your correct, mine has something along the lines of being to work anywhere in the country,

Further reporting office....all my stuff is issued in BKK from the one stop, and have been doing my 90 day reports for years in Maptuphut with no issue
