Been looking at old threads about shipping your personal items back to thailand. Almost all the threads are from the UK. I was wondering if there is any canadians with good recommandations? Im not looking for speed. Only cost.

Im still not sure how much i want to bring. I would love to bring some furniture over but if its too expensive i already have a brand new set in thailand. The only site i have found that seems to get decent reviews is sevenseas worldwide shipping but it costs 400$ to send 3 boxes and a golf bag which wouldnt cost me more than 150$ in extra luggage on the plane while they are using a 75days freight ship.

I movesd to Thailand about ten year ago. I cant give any real recommendation about a company. My enquiries found that shipping was expensive. I used the post office to ship some books out. I was warned that customs and duties in Thailand was a real pain by some colleagues at work. You can usually buy most things cheaper here than shipping it out. hope this helps and welcome to thailand.

I moved some stuff about three years ago from Canada.

Can't recommend a good shipper, but one to avoid: Internic Moving Services aka Euro Transport International

However, for someone to receive it and clear it in Bangkok for you, I can recommend Stein Krakholm at United Relocations - Thailand.
