January 23, 201313 yr Popular Post Immigration Office or Irrigation Office? It's next door to the Provincial Dyslexia Headquarters. ( http://www.panoramio.../photo/49311283 ) Edited January 23, 201313 yr by WinnieTheKhwai
January 23, 201313 yr Must be something out that way based on some previous topic posts. I can't find another topic that made mention of it at the moment. Sounds like their may be an administrative office out there? Just noticed a new "Department Of Immigration " building under construction on the Canal Rd. about 1 km north of 700 Year Stadium. Anyone know if the will be conducting visa business there in the future? ....BTW,my wife was chatting with our interviewer and she mention that they will be moving to a new location within a year, somewhere near the City Hall, but not the building by the Canal Rd/700 Years Stadium....so,hopefully things will improve

January 24, 201313 yr I don't suppose they've ever thought of taking over the 700 year old stadium itself? Bad location for me....please visa assist, never go out of business!
January 24, 201313 yr The sign says Immigration subdistrict 6 as I recall Does not look like its open to the public anyway.
January 24, 201313 yr The sign has English under the Thai. If you can't read it after opening the picture....... MSPain
January 24, 201313 yr I'm told that's a new administrative office, and not intended for entertaining actual immigrants.
January 25, 201313 yr It is just a sign. There is also a sign for the Chiang Mai zoo in San Sai. And...on the road to Hang Dong going south there is a sign that says "Welcome to Chiang Mai."

January 25, 201313 yr Had to go there once as there was a delay getting my visa extension back and my appointment was organised through the normal immigration office. Am of the understanding it is the adminstrative office of the 17 northern provinces.
