จ่ายภาษีรายได้ is what my mangled Thai would use, the following is a better description of more formal terms.

However I would pronounce it "Jaeng" not "Jeng"

แจ้ง (Jaeng) means "to inform" or "to advise"

เจ๊ง (Jeng) means "broke" or "bankrupt"

I agree with your transliteration. "Jaeng" is of course much closer to the correct pronunciation.
