The Bank That Disappeared

Featured Replies

I have an account at Bank of Asia. Curently being back in Europe I have not used it at all. Then when I for the last week have tried to access their website.... nothing, it's impossible.

I have also searced the web for info without luck and anytime I try their website http://www.bankasia4u.com/

I am infored that it's closed

?????

Bank of Asia still exists..they just changed their name to UOB Thailand

A while ago UOB Bank of Singapore purchased both "Ratanasin Bank" and "Bank of Asia", which later merged into each other and changed their name to UOB Thailand :o

www.uob.co.th , that's the new connection.

All other things remain the same(your ID as well as password)

Several months the customers were informed about the change, everytime they went for the old address.

I still transfer from europe to my account (Bank name;Bank of Asia:even the swift code remained the same)
