magmur
Hi all, I would like to buy a finish sauna or maybe an infrared sauna cabin for my home near Pattaya , 2nd hand would be welcome if its maintained and technically ok, have been looking at Pattaya Pool in North Pattaya but the sales people there looked at me like I'm from heaven and gave me a booklet about Health Mate infrared saunas and I'm still waiting for the promised information(14 days, hahaha) happy for every idea, thanks for your posts in advance warmest regards Mike
Sheryl
There is a much less expensive thing sold at Tesco Lotus, but it's one that you sit in with your head sticking out (there is an attachment that will also enclose the head if desired), maybe 3000 baht or so.It works fine. but it is not an actual room, just an insulated box you sit inside. I have seen the wooden room type things at Home Pros but very costly.
Kalbo
http://www.gymware.com/gateway_sauna.html I've bought a fair amount of weight training equipment from here and I am more than 100% satisfied with their service and prices. I have never been lied to or tried to be taken for a ride. The owner (nickname's 'Shaggy') speaks perfect English. BTW, I have absolutely no connection to them whatsoever, am just a satisfied customer.
Langsuan Man
Kanyong in Chonburi City has them in various sizes. They appear to be solidly made but are expensive. They are made of pine but a pursist would want one made with beech wood, something I have never seen in Thailand
buzzer
Hi, Magmur, I'm a little far from you as I'm in Phuket, but have a 2nd hand far-infrared sauna (which has certain advantages over normal heat saunas). I bought it a few years ago when I lived in Ko Samui, but didn't set it up until about 6 months ago after moving to a house with a bigger porch in Phuket. It sells new for 250,000 baht. It is made of hemlock wood, and has a pleasant smell. It also has chromo-therapy. I've used it less than a dozen times. It's called a 3 person model, but would be a little cramped. I can post pictures, or put it on TV classifieds if you want. Also feel free to PM me. Thanks, Buzzer
