Tourist Visa Expiring - Simplest Solution?

Featured Replies

Hi, I arrived in Thailand from the UK with a 6m tourist visa valid until 26 March. It's a triple entry visa.

I've used two entries and the most recent entry stamp (12 Dec) gave me 60 days up until 9 Feb.

My flight home is on 12 Feb but may slip, so I want to trigger the third entry to give me another 60 days.

What's the easiest way to get another entry stamp? Can I do it at an embassy in Bangkok? Is there a 1-2 day trip to a neighboring country that people would recommend?

Thanks!

EDIT: sorry, should be in the Thai visas section, can a mod move it?

Get a 30 day extension at any immigrations office.

Bring passport size photo and the 1.900 baht fee.

All 60 day tourist visa entries can be extended by 30 days.

Thanks a lot! I seem to get a bunch of different addresses - is there one immigration office you'd recommend in BK that's best for extensions?

You should go to the Immigration headquarter in Chaengwattana road only. Pay attention, the staff will take lunch break around 11.30-13.30 pm. Better be there in morning time.

Lunch is 12-1300 daily but there are many eating/shopping/banking establishments one floor below immigration level.
