Hello Thai Visa Experts.

I'm moving back to Thailand after about 7 years overseas. While I was in Thailand initially my Visa was a non-imm B, with a work permit. Then I started my own company and got a work permit through that.

This time coming back I now have a Thai wife (funny how that happens), and a child who is a dual Thai/USA citizen.

I want to come back on an extended Non-Immigrant O now, but my question is should it be based on supporting my wife, or supporting my child?

Can someone knowledgeable run down the differences between the two Non-Imm O's?

Thanks,

John

You should get a single entry non-o based upon your marriage from one of the honorary consulates in the states ( much more friendly than the embassy or the 3 official consulates) before you depart. This will give you a 90 day entry that you can extend for 1 year.
