Does Anyone Use Rom Klao Road?

Featured Replies

Just thinking to myself today after seeing a 3rd car upside-down.

For those that don't know, Rom Klao Road is currently somewhat of a death trap.

What was a central barrier separating 6 lanes of traffic has now been dug up for the entirety of Rom Klao (some 12 - 14km!!) What's wrong with them? Why the hell couldn't they dig up the road for 500m at a time and thus lowering the risk of cars plummeting into a 1m deep crater and/or whizzing through the temporary wooden steak and plastic tape barriers, then smashing into oncoming traffic.

To make matters worse, the left hand lanes are being re-surfaced, bottle necking the road & forcing cars to merge with the middle lane.... Which is probably the reason i have seen 3 cars (on the 3km section i use) in the space of 4 days on their roofs at the bottom of those craters during school run times!!! I hope the owners are ok and I’d hate to think if any children were in those cars given the time of day:( sad.png

Absolute incompetent $%#@$*!!!!

Makes me sick and now I’m moaning on this forum..........sorry, lol biggrin.png

Just be careful when riding your bike down that road guys and girls smile.png

Rom Klao Road has been a dead trap for last 15 years as I remembered, before, it was a busy RD with only 2 lines and full of container trucks, now it is 4 lines full of container trucks and cars...
