How To Prevent Dogs Fouling On My Driveway?

Featured Replies

What is a nice and effective way to prevent stray dogs from fouling on my driveway?

How do most people deal with this? My current attempts with small amounts of dried chilli power and vinegar were rather ineffective. Do I need to employ a street sweeper on a daily basis?

Anyone got some practical experience? Dog owning horticulturists?

Several people in our Moo baan stand full water bottles on their front step/drive apparently to deter dogs. Seems to work but may not be convenient of you have an open drive and you want to be able to just drive in and out?

Have heard this before. How does this work with the water bottles?

Most of the houses have a raised level before the front gate which is grass and concrete.. Some of the dogs in the village seemed to like to foul right in front of the gate on this level. They simply stand the full bottles somewhere on this level - either the 750ml size or bigger ones - one either end of the gate in one instance I can think of. No idea why this stops them unless it stops them from doing 360 degree circles before the act?

long time back we used to leave bottled water on our lawn.... seems the cats and dogs dont like it.... someone told me it was something to do with sunlight deflection through them...... not sure if thats true but it works
