Soi Dog Rescue Needs Your Help...

Featured Replies

If anyone can help, that would be great.

A US Animal Vet recently adopted a dog while in Thailand. He is going back to NY, but his air carrier will not carry the dog. Is anyone on ThaiVisa going to be travelling to the NY area from Bangkok between 9 March - 15 April? If so, you could really help out (this is very easy to do).

From Soi Dog Rescue:

"Working with us right now is an American vet who's kindly agreed to foster one of our rescues in New York when he gets back home. He can't take the dog back with him on the same flight, so we're wondering whether anyone can help.

If anyone is travelling to NEW YORK between 9 March - 15 April, then one of our doggies will be grateful for a ride. We'll organise all paperwork and bring the pup to the check-in desk on day of flight - and pay of course. Someone will meet traveller & dog the at the other end for handover. All the traveller needs to do is tell the airline that he/she will be accompanied by a dog. This saves us thousands of baht, so we'd be hugely grateful for the help."

PM me if you can help out...and if not, please pass on the word. Thanks so much! -Matt

It's a pity there aren't any takers so far, I don't head home until May and even then, not NY, otherwise I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Lucky dog!
