IMA_FARANG
i just did my 90 day reporting today and they were handing out a little booklet about various visa subjects. I notice they again have a notice about getting an exit re-entry permit ON LINE. I tried that before, but their site didn't work .... just gave me an error when I tried to apply for an exit re-entry permit approval. Has anyone ever sucessfully applied for an exit re-entry permit form Chaeng Wattana on line? According to what they say is you apply to get a permit and they give you a queue number. Then you go to Chaneng Wattana ... to a special on-line exit re-entry booth, with that queue number and they issue you the permit. But has anyone actually made the system work? lopburi3
Have not seen any such reports - can you scan/post that booklet? Expect others would be interested in what it says.
Mario2008
Suspect it is this booklet: engbroch.pdf
lopburi3
Indeed that appears to be it. Still have not heard of anyone using the re-entry permit system outlined in it.
stbkk
When I was at CW at the end of October last year there were notices posted about the on-line service for re-entry permits. While I was reading the notice a gentleman came up to me and said he'd tried it and got an error, so he'd come in person! It would seem that the site has been 'broken' for a few months now at least. TerryLH
OP, I'm curious as to why you call it an 'exit re-entry permit'? Terry
Mario2008
I also remember a report of someone trying but failing to use the online appointment system. Not seen a report it is actually working. The link is still on the BKK-immigration website.
wayned
I entered the website and the form comes up. I didn't go any further since the form is very long and I don't need a permit. Don't know what happens when the form is completed.
