The Meteorological Department today issued an announcement stating that the cold airmass that have extended from China to cover the northeastern part of Thailand today will cause storms and strong winds in the provinces of Nakhon Phanom, Nongkhai, Sakhon Nakhon, Mukdaharn, Udon Thani, Amnart Charoen, and Ubon Ratchathani. Such condition is expected tomorrow throughout the north, northeast and central regions as well as in Bangkok and the vicinity. People in the aforementioned areas are urged to exercise caution during this period. During March 1-3, intense high pressure system from China will extent its ride to cover upper Thailand, causing thunderstorms and gusty wind and hails in the areas. While easterly winds over the Gulf will be intensifying. Wave height about 2 meters. Obviously translated (somewhat) from the original Thai...
