Hey all!

I'm kind of bored of KL for my "yearly" visa trips. Have anyone been to Yangon, Myanmar?

Do they issue 1 year Visas over there if I got a WP?

I've previously also tried Vietnam and Cambodia. And they've both issued 3-month Visas (all though I've supplied my WP as well).

Am I stuck with Malaysia?

Or maybe someone got an other idea of a nice country to visit for a 1-year visa?

Cheers!

Sorry they don't.

Australia is nice and they’ll do the one year business visa.

Ok, haven't been there... Which city?

Thanks a lot for the info by the way...

Any experience with Hong Kong? (anyone)

Heard Hong Kong was a no-go.

Why are they so inconsistent? Shouldn't it be the same wherever you go? (I know that's a stupid question!)

Yep, that is a good question... :D

When I was in Cambodia, they told me that "I should know better, and everyone knows that one should go to Malaysia".

I ended up having a small argument with that guy (stupid I know), and he gave me a nice note on my 3 month Visa (which he almost didn't give me):

"If come back to Cambodia, no new Visa" (written in thai) :o

Great thing to have in a passport! :D

I got my work visa in Vientiane a couple of years ago. The guy in the office told me it would be hard to get, but it was okay because I was working for AUA.
