February 8, 201313 yr Which banks have USD accounts. I have several accounts at Kasikorn in the provinces and of course they have no idea what I am talking about. I would prefer to keep all my accounts at one bank but..... Does anyone know how this works? Do I get an ATM card and draw out Baht or what. Since I am sure the account will have to be opened in BKK, there will be the usual inter-province charges.
February 8, 201313 yr i have one in Kbank in Siam. ask the to call the main office to get direction. even though my kbank in Siam gave me the account it is actually with the main office and only the main office can preform any account activities during their business hours
February 8, 201313 yr I have an account with SCB in Chiang Mai. I opened it at the airport branch, but have to go into the bank to do any transactions as internet banking and ATM is not available, or so they told me.
February 8, 201313 yr Look at the Krungsri Bank website they are advertising foreign currency accounts in a number of currencies with an ATM card.
February 8, 201313 yr I have a USD and AUD Accounts @ Citibank, great to bank with and zero ATM or account keeping fees, can also transfer free into and out of USA and Australia
