I've had no real problems trading with UK based brokers.

Internet is much more reliable than it used to be, but I would still advise that you place your stoploss at the same time as opening a trade.

Obviously, one has to make a profit before withdrawing funds - not so easy

I withdrew funds from my account with CMC Markets 2 months ago, required a telephone call and a couple of emails with scans of my passport and a recent bank statement. I have a UK address.

Not sure what difficulties you may have if you don't have an address in your home country.
