February 11, 201313 yr Hi Guys, just wondering if any one can help with some advice, i have got my self a new passport and am not to sure if i need to transfer my visa over to the new one, the reason for this is that i need to renew my Non Imm O visa in april so dont have any more 90 days checks untill then, so should i just wait untill i do the new application for the Non Imm O, or do i need to transfer over my current visa to the new passport now ? Cheers
February 11, 201313 yr Do you have a visa and exit country every 90 days or an extension of stay and report address every 90 days? For extension of stay you do at immigration office you extended at as soon as you get the new passport. For visa entry you do next time you exit at the exit point. This assumes you have old passport (was not lost). If you do not have both you must do at immigration office.
February 11, 201313 yr A Visa is not transferred, the information about the Visa and your last entry are stamped in the new passport, when you do a border run. When you do your next run take both passports. If you do 90 day reports then you need to go to Immigration as soon as possible. Transfer of details takes about 1.5 to 2 pages of your new passport Edited February 11, 201313 yr by beano2274
