I currently have a double entry and single entry tourist visa in my passport. Is there a limit to how many tourist visas they will issue at the Thai Embassy in Vientiene? If so, would I be better off going to Cambodia to try for the new single visa? Does anyone know if Cambodia is two day process like Vientiane?

Cambodia is normally a 3-4 day process and do not believe you will have any issue in Vientiane at this time. Savannakhet would also be a better choice than Cambodia.

If it is a tourist visa it can be extended 30 days at any immigration office. Savannakhet is normally a good experience for visa issue, as is Vientiane. Only when have more than a handful of visas is there normally an issue at most locations.
