Chinese Tourist rescued after Paragliding into a Tree

PATTAYA:--Paragliding and Chinese tourists don’t seem to be a good mix this week in Pattaya City, as a second Chinese visitor ended up in an accident, this time caught in a surprise blast of wind as he was newsjsabout to land on the beach, and instead found himself up a tree, literally, stuck in the branches with his parachute wrapped around a security lighting pole

Emergency services were called to the scene to find 44 year old Mr.Zhongping Bai suspended amid the branches and had to climb quite a way up to recover him.

Squirrel says man who stuck in tree must be nuts.

Is this why city hall did that severe tree chopping exercise a few months ago?

Up the pole in a parachute gives new meaning to the saying - Up the creek without a paddle. Takes a very 'particular skill' - found only in Thailand - for a boat to plant a para-sailor atop a pole, several meters away from the beach.

Im sure, not so funny to the Chinese guy, could have been killed! At the very least, he will be charged for a full hour!

Cheap Charlie Chinese Tourist attempts to save Money by paying only to Paraglide but then tries the Flight of the Gibbon for free.

Chose wrong Tree & caught evading ziplining fee.

Howzat ?
