MaxwellsDemon
So I've lost a lot of motivation to progress anywhere with my Thai lately - it's not great, but it's not half bad either. I think the next route for me is to indulge in some Thai TV or movies or something to at least passively try and learn without much brain power or mental engagement involved. I watched Yak last year and I found that although I might not have got the whole story without the subtitles, I understood a surprising amount of the dialogue. But kid's stuff is boring Is there anything with relatively simple Thai that isn't the usual kids TV shows? Preferably something funny, but not an over-the-top soap opera like Raeng Ngao? I want to learn, but am lazy!
cameozo
I just watched and studied all of the subtitles from December 32 Love Error. I recommend it.
kriswillems
I recommend the shows of stand-up comedian โน้ส อุดม. You'll not need to use much brain power and his shows are entertaining.
DaraRai
Talk shows or news channels are good. I'd suggest the Thai lakorns, except that come to think of it, it taught me quite a bit of Thai but not necessarily an extensive vocabulary to use in a formal setting (such as a university). Good for vocab if you want to speak colloquially...
DavidMavec
Search YouTube for "chris delivery". Meant for Thais who want to learn English but in my opinion it is great for us. Very funny and clever!
