Remember,

Comming Monday the 25th is a government holiday, so all government offices, including immigration will be closed.

Just found out a few days ago.Had booked to fly out for the savanvegas run on the sunday and coming back tuesday.Had to change my flights to the following day :/

For embassies and consulates you need to check their holiday schedules also.

I just found this out last night and guess what my visa run,s out on Monday ...what are the chances of getting a one week extension on Tuesday even though my visa is finished on Monday ....not really my fault it is another thai holiday...thanks

If you have a tourist visa you can get a 60 day extension.

If no visa (30 day visa waiver entry) or non immigrant visa then it would be 7 days.

Dependent on which immigration office you go to you might have to pay 500 baht for overstay but you would get the extension.

Don't forget bars closed too (unless you know where to go) and no supermarket alcohol sales from Midnight Sunday until Midnight Monday
