Beware Counterfeit 100 Baht Bills Around Town

A friend showed me a counterfeit bill he said he received at Tesco near Chalong.
The metallic looking strip on the one end was just white.
So, it was pretty obvious although I wouldn't have known.
It looked very well used.

Just a heads up for you all.
I would think they would go for the 500's or the thousand baht note, not the 100's but, that's what it was.

I asked him what he was going to do with it and he said, "I'll just tear it up".

you'd be amazed even in the UK, USA and other countries that a massive amount of the currency is counterfeit, over here with there being no real staff training in retail shops and the staffs attitude as it is, i think you could hand draw a 100 note and get away with it thumbsup.gif
