Can anyone tell me a restraunt where I can go to buy here decent sized Lamb Shanks at a good price. I live on the dark side, however the light side is not so scary. ChangFai Posted March 9, 2013 Share Posted March 9, 2013 The Golden Ferret on New Plaza, normally have Lamb Shanks (+veg, mash, gravy) on their specials board Fridays and Saturdays. When on the specials board its 275 baht. I (and the TeeRak) highly recommend it. Much better than Punch & Judys, where I had Lamb Shanks once and was over 400 baht if I remember correctly. I buy mine at Friendship, but do notice recently they have been selling in packs of three which is a pain as when frozen they are difficult to separate, we only need 2 at a time. Posts like this always make me laugh. it's assumed that you won't know where Ya Ya's is but because it's next door to that great landmark 'the visa shop' you will find it..EVERYONE knows the visa shop, surely! Anyone with any better directions ? ok stand at the front of the Eastern hotel and look for the restaurant and its neighboring Visa shop on its left side as mentioned before in this thgread the pioneer bar is its neighbour on its right side anything else? maybe GPS ?
