Brochure Printing In Thailand

Featured Replies

I'm trying to get some high-quality brochures printed in Thailand and I was wondering if anyone has some websites or something with pricing and quality.

I'm looking to print 250 brochures. I know Chonburi108 does some printing, but their website is only in Thai. My prior employer in Thailand had several thousand brochures printed with a trade school in Chonburi that taught disabled individuals graphics design skills. Does anyone know this company? Thanks

What prices should I expect to pay, and is the price lower than in the States. I know Thai printers are capable of high quality items, but will it cost me the same as the states?

Thanks

I don't know where you heard that. My own experience is that, on the whole, Thai printing work is second rate. Neither the expertise nor even the necessary equipment exists in Thailand for doing work of internationally competitive qualitity. It is not accidental that almost all top qualitity printing working in the region goes to either Hong Kong (and that region of China in general) or Singapore. You can't expect to get first world work in the third world.

There's also a problem here with both paper availability and cost. The paper business in Thailand is essentially a monopoly controlled by [name omitted to prevent untold problems]. That means that here you must buy what paper they want to sell and at whatever price they want to charge, not what you need at an international price. As a result, major print jobs are always cheaper in Hong Kong or Singapore as well as produced at a higher level of quality.

Not so!

my Microsoft Windows XP CD has some excellent printing on it :o

High quality printing exists in Thailand because I've seen the brochures created by my employeers. Chonburi108, does good stuff, i'm not not sure if there is a price benefit over that of the States or an online printer.

I believe offset printing is relativly old technology, and almost all countires have it. Does anyone know of a the printer or trade school I am referring to in Chonburi? Thanks

We used "U and I Creation Co., Ltd." to print over 2,000 high-quality christmass cards for a German client last year, they did a nice job.

You can contact them at 01-6163387 (located in nonthaburi). I am not sure if they can speak in English though, I didn't converse with them myself.

If you need any assistance with the design you are welcome to PM.

do you by chance know how much you paid to print those 2,000 cards?
