Calling Uk To Thailand

Featured Replies

Hello, I am going to need a SIM card to use in my mobile to call Thailand to Uk landline and mobile, did get one before it was cheap to use, about 2 baht per min I think. Are these still around ? Made calling uk easy especially when needing regular contact for work.

You might want to consider using Skype. If you have a U.K address, you register with Skype with this address, and pay rates same as if you are calling within the U.K. Makes calling simple and cheap.

I use Skype regularly to call 800 (toll free) numbers within the U.S. - like to my bank, brokerage company, service desks, etc. - don't pay a cent, and connections are excellent.

Thanks for the Skype idea, however I do not want to rely on an Internet connection

Not sure if you want to call UK from Thailand or Thailand from UK.

If you can download it use the Vonage app. on your phone. Cheap calls from UK to Thailand and Thailand to UK. Free calls to other Vonage users and anywhere in USA.

Many other alternatives but you need to be in range of a wifi.

Chris

I use Rebtel, similar to Vontage but in the uk it gives me the option to use mywifi/data plan or a local phone call which uses my huge allowance of minutes anyway. Connection is good and app very easy interface.

A True Inter sim gives you calls from Thailand to a UK landline number for 1 baht per minute and UK mobiles for (I think) 5 baht.
