Last year someone posted a link to the interest rates in Thailand over the last few years I wrote it down somewhere but no idea where.

Any chance of repeat.

Thanks

Thanks for that but the one I saw before was the banks interest rates over the last few years I am trying to get the average interest rates on a fixed price accounts for the last 4/5years.

In other words if you had invested 1m baht in a fixed account at a Thai bank 4yr ago what would you get now approx.

there is no such thing like "average interest rate". take a look what variations Standard Bank offered 5 years ago and that applies for today too.

OK thanks again I understand what you mean but if I take the best rate the bank offered how do I work out what the million baht would be now over that time frame then until now

Sorry to be a pain but I have no idea how to calculate that I. know there would be compound interest on it but that's another mystery.

I may have to go to see an account about it , what my problem is I borrowed that money from a good friend we never spoke about interest at the time but I want to make sure he doesn't loose out he just keeps his money in the bank.

Thanks for your help

Not sure exactly what you're looking for but the Bank of Thailand website has various data on interest rates. Click on the link below, and then there's a choice of 8 or so other links - most of which will also let you access historic data depending on what you're looking for
