So going to the UK and Europe, am aware that my wife can get a Tax rebate on goods she purchases, but can I as a Non Immigrant Visa holder here in Thailand?

If not, she will just claim it back by herself.

Also reading that rental cars can be rebated against, but then read that you cannot, has anyone got any ideas about this? Would I have to use my wife's company name or what to get a refund or could the car rental VAT be rebated as an Individual. The same about hotels I would think

One question answered

If you are an international expat and staying in the EU for six months or less, you are also eligible for a VAT refund.

If you are staying in the EU for a period of six months or longer, and you are planning to leave the
European Union soon again, make sure to deregister from city hall. You will then receive a confirmation

of your deregistration (you will need this once you visit EU-Customs for a Customs stamp)

You can only reclaim your VAT over purchases made in the last three months before leaving the EU.
