Reporting? - Arrived And Stamped!

Featured Replies

Hi all,

We’ve arrived safe and sound!

When I entered the officials stamped my passport and have dated my expiry 1 year from now, I am on a retirement visa O-A. They did not
mention anything about reporting every 3 months and when I asked they said you don’t report?? Everything I have read on this forum signifies that I should be reporting every 3 months to confirm my address. Any explanations?

My wife on a visa O got 3 months so we’ll go to immigration
to extend this, hopefully try match my length.

Any help is much appreciated.

Cheers!

You will have to go to your local Immigration Office after every 90 days of continuous stay and fill in a TM 47 form.

I wouldn't wait until the last minute to sort out your Wife's situation. Go and have a chat with Immigration and see what is required.

Yes you need to report every 90 days . Day one is the day you entered the kingdom. Reporting can be done from 15 days before, till 7 days after the 90 day date. Days doesn't mean working days!

Thank you all! Will do.

Cheers!

Immigration officials at the airport do not know about the 90 day rule, as it is not part of their work.

Does you wife have a single or multiple entry visa?

She will be lucky to get an extension of stay as your dependent. Immigration normally will not grant them for OA visa entries.
