Can you tell me if I arrive in Penang by air at 17.50 on the 9th April and leave at 08.10 on the 11th, will I be able to apply for and collect a 1 year multiple visa on the same day, i.e. the 10th April.

It is apply morning of one day and get back the next afternoon for non immigrant visas.

Same day is possible for tourist visas only.

Are you sure you qualify for a multiple entry B visa in Penang? You will need a work permit and a stack of company paperwork to get it.

Penang requires 8 Million baht in company capital to issue a multiple entry non-B.
