PATTAYA:--A 34 year old man was accused of abducting an 11 year old girl at knife-point and then taking her to a Motel where he sexually assaulted her twice before taking her back to her home in Jomtien.

Just before 1am on Wednesday a 44 year old mother and her 11 year old daughter made their way to Pattaya Police Station to report the incident. The Mother explained that earlier in the night just before 7pm, her daughter left the family home at the Royal Park Village on the Sukhumvit Road in Jomtien to visit a friend at the Tepprasit Road Government Condominium located close-by.

At the front of the village the girl was looking for a motorbike taxi and seconds later a man wearing a motorbike taxi jacket, who was later found not to be a genuine taxi driver, pulled up beside the girl and offered to take her to see her friend. He then told the girl, upon their arrival, that he would wait outside for her and take her back home.

An hour later the girl emerged from the Condominium and the pair were preparing to leave when the taxi driver, later named as Khun Oy aged 34, told the girl to sit in front of him on the bike as he was having some problems with the back tyre of the bike.

This man needs a long jail sentence. He is obviously a danger to young girls and he can blame the drink and drugs all he likes. What a disgusting animal.

Kids need to be supervised 24/7 in places like this, to let a small girl go on her own especially after nightfall is inviting trouble. There are many more criminals like this out there. Lucky the girl is alive, and will hopefully get over it quickly.

Why do the imbeciles who write this shit refer to this scumball as 'khun' which is a title of respect?

They certainly don't do it in the Thai press...

Perhaps because he is innocent until found guilty in a court of law?

He has admitted to it. He blamed the drink and drugs.

If he is convicted of robbing this girl of her childhood by inflicting deep mental, physical, and emotional wounds, he should get 20 years to protect the public and to serve as a deterrent to other sick animals.

Think that's a bit extreme. Rape is bad but it's not like he murdered anyone.

Brings to mind an old Movie Title

"Hang 'em High"

I have been in Ebforcement for 30+ years but if that was my daughter he would never make it to the court. after the confession.

Just my opinion. Not the legal course of action

An 11 year old girl. 11 and he sexually assaulted her twice. No remorse after the first go. He came back for seconds. Then threatened her life if she told. How many times has he done this before?

Twenty years would not be enough. This man is very liable to do this again if he ever survives a jail term.

People admit all sorts of stuff in police custody. It is for a court of law to pronounce someone guilt.

Ever heard of confessions made under duress?

You are innocent until declared guilty in a court of law. At least you are in civilised countries.

If it was made under duress.

Seems to be the same place, same room and same m/c.

It doesn't matter where or how he "confessed" or how much evidence there is or isn't against him. He still has to be tried in a court of law and found guilty before he can be described as such. That's civilised.

I don't disagree with that sentiment.
