Official Opening of Nongprue Police Station

PATTAYA:--On Sunday, the Chonburi Provincial Police Commander, Police Major General Katcha, presided over the official opening and dedication ceremony for Nongprue Police Station which was recently elevated in status to become a fully-operation Police Station after an initial 2 year trial as a sub-station of Banglamung Police.

The former Banglamung Police Chief, who is now head of the Nongprue Police Station, which serves the eastern side of Pattaya, was transferred to the new station last year because of his extensive experience in the Thai Police Force. He now leads a team of 62 Police Officers who are supported by Police Volunteers and a small group of Foreign Police Volunteers who provide assistance to foreign customers at the station.
