Hi everyone. New to this site. Thank in advance.

I've been to pattaya but fancy trying someplace different. I'm a 35 divorced man and fancy a golfing holiday and the likes.... Where would you recommend going and travelling. I will be travelling alone after finishing a long hard degree course. I am very easy going and want to have a great time but get involved in local culture;)

I get on with everyone and never found making friends to be very hard.

Question is... Have any of you guys travelled along? And what tips or secrets or advice could you throw my way?

A good place for golfing is Hua Hin. Have you ever been there? If you are looking for mostly golf info, it might be best to post this in the golf forum. If looking for a general holiday, then you are in the right forum.

As for traveling alone, it's really never a problem here in Thailand.

I was thinking of landing in Bkk then grabbing a taxi to pattaya. Mooching around then hopefully maybe tagging in with someone.

Where would you recommend staying. I stayed at the areca lodge last time so I know that area!

Pattaya has loads of golf courses around plus nightlife etc.

Can't be bad being a single holidayer.

Plenty of golf courses around here. A few of the bars setup weekly outings also.

Can't help you with accommodations! Sorry. I'd recommend doing a new post in the Pattaya forum or search that forum for suggestions.
