Well I wish I had some of that, I have met a few bods in my life I would have loved to spray with it !!!! ( and so far no one I have met here on TV )

Issan, peace and tranquility, or the night life up to you

Isaan, contains seven of its most populous provinces, the root of all thai music, and offers beautiful natural scenery, numerous ancient sites of great interest, and the true ‘thainess’ lifestyles.

The Isaan region is the north eastern part of Thailand which is famous for its style of cooking and it's really friendly people.

Or....

The Isaan region is a home of many famous Thai crusines from papaya salad to exotic curries-they have it all.

Isaan is a BIG region. It should really be divided up into sections. Comparing Loei with Korat or Surin is apples and oranges. That said a vibrant city life is available as well as a tranquil laid back country life. Flat land or mountains are also choices.

Well according to "some" people, Korat is not Issan so maybe the Korat folk shouldn't be posting here as if they are in Issan.

And then again, according to "some" other people: "What about the farangs in Korat? I can't say I know that many, but I do know a few. They can largely be put into two groups - teachers and alcoholics". Yea, yea, I know where that leaves me.

Where is that repellant spray when you need it, Cheeky?.

I had a great business idea. I wanted to get a patent on it but it was already classed as a food product. How you could class Vegamite as a food is entirely beyond me but apparently some people do eat it.

I wanted to market a nice looking set of chaps. Chaps are an item that you wrap around your lower leg. These chaps with vegamite rubbed on them would make an excellent dog bite repellant and I'm sure it would work with snakes too. No self respecting animal or reptile would even consider biting something that gross.

People from Korat speak Korat language,it is different then Issan or central or southern Thai.They are all about the same but are different.So as to the first sentance yes.As to the second sentance...I belive that you have now found and fallen into a large drum of the famous Cheeky repellant

I vote for your thoughts of Issan.I had fallen in love with Issan from the moment that I had first set foot,eyes and .................in Issan.It is truly one of the most beautiful places in Thailand to live.For me.
