Non Imm B Multiple Entry Renewal

Featured Replies

Hi Guys

Im faced with the usual problem of renewing a multiple entry non B with just less than 6 months left on my work permit

I know in KL, Singapore, Kota Bharu and Penang they will not issue multiple with less that 6 months left on WP

So now I am faced with:

from Krabi...

trip to Kota Bharu and get 3 months non B (total cost 5000 + visa 3000)

in 3 months time trip to Kota Bharu and get 3 months non B (total cost 5000 + visa 3000)...because only 3 months left on WP

in 6 months trip to Kota Bharu (with new WP) and get 1 year multiple non B (total cost 5000 + visa 5000)

so total cost 26,000 baht

I called the Thai embassy in Hong Kong, and they said they will issue 1 year multiple non B regardless of how many months left on WP

my trip to HK incl hotel and visa will cost around 22,000...and will involve only 1 trip to get it done and out of the way.

does anyone have experience with the Thai embassy there?

The cost of visa is 2,000 baht (or a bit more due to exchange rates) and believe it is 220 Ringgit in Malaysia. Sorry can not advise on Consulate in Hong Kong providing.

yes single entry, but multiple is around 5000

ask them about a double entry visa(6 month) explaining your situation and then get a 1 year multiple entry.i think this will be your best bet.

Only single and multiple entry non immigrant visas are available (other than one or two honorary consulates in the world).
