How To Get A Visa Extension On A Tourist Visa At Phitsanulok Immigration Office

Featured Replies

Hi I'm new to the Forum, I need to get a visa extension on my tourist visa in 3 weeks. I have got visa extensions on a number of tourist visa already in places such as Samui, But i'm a little worried about if it's a formality in a place like Phitsanulok? I'm visiting my Thai GF hometown and Phitsanulok is the nearest place with an immigration office. I'm not familiar with Phitsanulok does it have many tourists and is it just a Formality to get a tourist visa extension. How many days should i go before my visa expires? Any advice would be much appreciated, particularly from anyone that has dealt with this immigration office. Thanks

All immigration offices will extend the normal tourist visa so should be routine filling out of TM.7, passport copies and payment. I would do a week or two early.

Tourist visa extensions are no problem to get anywhere. You might get questioned by some officers as to why you have so many visas.

They might want some proof that you are residing in the province at some offices.

Take your GF along she might be able to help you.

Phitsanulok is a nice town - not a lot of tourists, a few expats here and there but again not many.

When it comes to the immigration office there, like the other posters have said, shouldn't be a problem getting an extension there, but do bring along the gf if your Thai isn't good enough as I don't think much English would be spoken there.
